how parents chose to have their child do Baby Sign. This article is interesting and will help you
get a better understanding of how Baby Sign is used in the home.

when learning a first and second language.
This article talks about how when a child is signing they are using more
of the brain because of the movement of the hands. “This research
supports the conclusions made on the basis of behavioral studies that
linguistic proficiency in both first and second languages is determined by the
age of first language acquisition but not its modality.” This is
a good article to read if you are interested in how using sign language with
your baby will affect how they use language now and in the future.
Using Baby Sign Language to Facilitate Language Development
